Angelica and Efrain

Just as with Leslie and Chris, I started working with Angelica and Efrain in March of 2006 as well! I still remember our first meeting - he seemed so excited and had more questions/discussion items than Angelica! These two were hilarious and so much fun to work with. The only challenge was staying on task! ;) They live in South Austin so I'm hoping we'll see each other regularly - TOO FUN!!

Casey and Kris

We love weddings. Obviously. But we especially love them when they are one of our own. Congratulations Casey & Kris!!

We were blessed with perfect October weather for this special event -- sunny for the ceremony and cool once the sun had set. Zilker Clubhouse was so pretty with Christmas lights, chinese lanterns and lots of beautiful orchids.

It was so fun to be there for Casey on her special day. Cori and I had a blast!! Happy honeymoon, you two :)

Michelle and Eric

Michelle and Eric planned this Austin wedding from a distance - something that's becoming more and more common! All of our meetings took place over the phone and we actually didn't meet face-to-face until the rehearsal. But I knew her the second I saw her - I really enjoyed getting to know her over the phone and was so honored to be part of her amazing day!

This laid-back reception was full of Texas charm - from tables named after Texas towns to guest favors of lucky horseshoes! The live band was great and it was such a treat when Michelle's grandpa whipped out his guitar and jumped right in. I have no doubt this celebration will be one their guests remember for many, many years to come.

Glow sticks!

This wedding was so much fun.

Sara and Philip were married at their private family ranch in the beautiful hill country. We did the ceremony overlooking the Blanco River. It was breathtaking. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and Texas BBQ while listening to a local Bluegrass band. It was very laid-back and casual. Exactly what they wanted.

My favorite part were the glow sticks. Note to all couples planning their weddings -- glow sticks are a huge hit!

Special thanks to Jennifer's Gardens for the gorgeous flowers -- Jennifer and Madeleine are the best!

Best wishes to you two. Thanks for letting Caleigh and I be a part of your special day!

Leslie and Chris

I've been working with Leslie and Chris since March 2006 - that's 19 months! I loved getting to know these two special people along with their beautiful daughter Sierra, as well as both of their loving mothers. From the start, we knew we were doing something drastically different from the weddings and events their friends and families were used to. Leslie had a hunger for elegance and her guests were quite obviously impressed with the final product.

We established quite a bond over the last 19 months and I'm going to miss working with these two! Be sure to give me a call when it's time to start planning Sierra's quinceanera. :)

Ken and Cori made sure that the bride and groom had their plates asap - we believe it's always important to give our clients a chance to eat dinner!

I loved these favor boxes, set at each place setting. The tag said "Life is Sweet! Thank you for coming to my mommy & daddy's wedding. Please enjoy my gift of the sweet life." and was signed by Sierra. Inside were some of her favorite candies - guests LOVED these and were even spotted going table to table, looking for extras.
